Summary
In this talk I go over the tastiest combo in wifi hacking - turning a raspberry pi into a homemade wifi pinapple. The goal of this talk is to educate people on the details of not connecting to public wifi, and then giving a show-and-tell of just how you’d go about setting up this wifi man-in-the-middle.
The demo portion of this talk invovled spoofing my university’s WiFi SSID, convinving students to join our rogue network device, and the showcasing their traffic in real-time. We also had a lovely volunteer log into our specially made “CSG Login Page (legitimate)” and showed the entire lecture hall the username and password they logged in with.
